A lot of pride and hard work goes into making this ribbon at a small co-op in northeast India while providing jobs to the severely impoverished in the region. Each 50g skein has 40 yards. If you would like to make a scarf I recommend 2 skeins on nice large needles (like 50's). That would make about 5 foot long skinny scarf to wrap and wrap around your neck.
You could also make some beautiful flowers by sewing the edges together and dying the fabric itself. The material is light enough that it would lend itself well to jewelry creation and accouterments.
