4oz of squishy, delicious corriedale wool fiber hand-dyed by Darn Good Yarn's friend Brandi (Fiberesta extraordinaire). I love this fiber it's just so soft. This fiber is soft enough to be used next to the skin.

This fiber will felt beautifully too. It is suitable for most projects. Fiber is not superwash and needs special care. Handwash in tepid water and lay flat to dry. You can also add a Premium Top Whorl Drop Spindle. It is The spindle is 10" long, rounded on both tips, has a 2.5" whorl, and weighs 1.8 ounces. Paired together it's a perfect starter kit!

Your purchase of this fibers helps support a small family-owned farm in rural Maine (right up the road from Darn Good Yarn!) Brandi runs the farm and was able to bring her love of animals and fiber together. Most of the animals are rescues too. She works with our local shelters to provide foster and permanent homes for these animals. Brandi's philosophy is, "We have engineered many of our domesticated species that they cannot live without us, therefore we are responsible for them."

Amazing Fiber, Amazing Cause!!!

P.S. If you would like to have the entire collection of color braids for this season (Spring 2013) you can purchase them here for a discounted price!
